Choosing a beginning point can be enough to keep me from beginning something, even when I’m ready to go. That said, I’ll start with the moth who’d attached himself to my backyard screen door. Before my walks in nature became frequent, several-times-a-week outings, I’d never have noticed this little moth less than an inch from wing-to-wing, and I’d certainly have not considered stopping for a closer look, and there is n way I’d have snapped a picture of him. More likely, if he’d gotten caught by my peripheral vision, I’d have shooed him out or, yes, squashed him. I’ll begin this blog as a reformed moth-squasher and present a picture of this small fellow dressed in his yellow, orange and black wings. If you like what you read here, do let me know!
